SANIHATCH

Quarantine Hotel Solution

SaniHatch is a pass-through hatch with built-in UV-C Germicidal Irradiation lights.

It's designed specifically for Quarantine Hotels.

It's an additional physpical barrier between isolating hotel guests and the outside world.

It helps in ensuring that potentially infected items such as food containers, crockery, utensils, toiletries, towels, linen, personal items, medications and items typically used guests are disinfected before being picked up by hotel staff.

While the room is being use to quarantine guests meals and required items can only enter or leave the room via the hatch.

The hatch is sensored and electronically controlled to be locked at all times. The locks on both the inner and outer doors are inter-locked such that neither door can be open at the same time as the others. In other words, only one door can be open at a time. This ensures that airflow between the room and corridor is impeded.

When a guest needs items removed from the room, they use the control panel on the inner door to unlock it. Then place the items into the hatch and close the door. The door is then automatically locked. When the controller verifies that the doors is locked, the UV-C Germicidal Irradiation lights are turned on. When the UV-C disinfection period is completed, the lights are turned off and the outer door is unlocked. A status indicator on the control panel on the outer door is illuminated, indicating that there's items in the hatch that has been disinfected and ready for collection by hotel staff. The controller will also send a text message to the floor supervisor advising which room has items ready for removal. A staff member will then remove the items from the hatch and close the outer door. The controller will then lock the outer door and illuminate an indicator on the inner & outer door panels inicating that the hatch is empty.

Items entering the room are also be disinfected via the hatch. A staff member uses the control panel on the outer door to unlock it. Then place the items into the hatch and closes the door. The door is then automatically locked. When the controller verifies that the doors is locked, the UV-C Germicidal Irradiation lights are turned on. When the UV-C disinfection period is completed, the lights are turned off and the inner door is unlocked. A status indicator on the control panel on the inner door is illuminated, indicating that there's items in the hatch that has been disinfected and ready for the guest to receive. The inner control panel will also emit a short audible tone to alert the guests.

SaniHatch is designed to be fitted and air-tighted sealed in any door or wall. It comes complete with instruction manual, mounting hardware, fasteners and sealing gaskets. The hatch is shipped pre-assembled and ready to operate. We recommend it be installed by a qualified carpenter and electrcial connected to a dedicated 10 Amp, 240V AC mains power point by a qualified electrician.
